The official details of the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze finally have been announced by Chevrolet along with the updates of the features. The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze model empowered by a 1.4 liter turbo and six- speed automatic transmission, producing 36 mpg, a better fuel economy at 2 mpg. ECO version will deliver 39 mpg on the highway compared with 37 mpg. A 42 mpg will be delivered by Cruze ECO with the standard six speed manual transmission.
The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze completed with upgraded features such as a feature package containing Bluetooth phone connectivity, USB port, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a leather-wrapped shift knob will be standard on 1LT and Eco models. Those all features are including on the $525 Connectivity plus Cruise option package on 2011 models.
Remote keyless entry, Air conditioning, Audio system with AM/FM/CD and MP3 playback, SiriusXM Satellite Radio with three-month trial service, Driver information center with average and instant fuel economy feedback, tire pressure readout, oil life remaining and more come as the standard equipment on the 2012 Cruze.
The 2012 chevrolet Cruze also completed with some standard safety features include StabiliTrak electronic stability control, OnStar with Automatic Crash Response, ten standard air bags which is placed most in the segment including frontal, head curtain side air bags, front and outboard rear-seat side-impact air bags and knee air bags and the last collapsible pedal system which enables the pedals to detach during a crash to reduce the risk of leg or ankle injuries.
The 6 speed manual transmission comes as standard features on 1LT and 2LT while the Keyless entry and keyless start is available on 2 LT and comes as standar on LTZ only. The 1LT equipped with 16-inch five-spoke machined-face alloy wheels as standard and 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with four-wheel disc brakes are standard on 2LT. fog lamps are available on LTZ as standard equipment. The 2012 Cruze are available in three colors interior, those are Blue Granite Metallic, Blue Topaz Metallic and Victory Red.
